Patricio Harkness, LPC
(18+) Telehealth Only (English or Spanish Speaking)

My name is Patricio Harkness (he/him). I am Latino and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and safe to be yourself. I work primarily with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. My experience includes providing therapy in drug court, alongside child protection services, and in houseless shelters. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for your resilience. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
I have a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Psychology and a Master of Sciences degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Oregon and have been working in the field since 2015.
I operate from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness approaches. I help clients achieve their goals by identifying old habits that hinder their progress and teaching them new ones. Issues such as poor self-worth, communication skills, anger management, drug and alcohol addiction, and trauma disorders are among the situations with which I have worked.
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and spending quality time with my pets and family. I was born and raised in Florida and moved to Oregon in 2020. I can provide services in both English and Spanish!
