Marita Tiller, LPC

Marita Tiller is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing since 2009. She graduated from George Fox University with a Master's degree in counseling.

Marita's theoretical approach is eclectic, based on the needs of the client. She tends to use a holistic approach to get to the core of the issue and address it, fostering healing, new cognitions, skills, and perspective. She believes re-wiring of the brain is possible and past painful experiences do not have to intrude on the present forever. Interventions may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Sensorimotor Therapy, Meditation/visualizations, EMDR, Positive Psychology, Psychoeducation, and Solution Focused. Her area of specialty is trauma, Christian/faith-based counseling.

In her spare time, Marita enjoys being out in the sun, doing activities such as watersports, hiking, gardening, and walking. She also enjoys baking, reading, acrylic painting, architecture, travel, and is a player of music.
