Hailey Kale, LPC

Hailey Kale is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. Her clinical experience includes working with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, social anxiety, conflict, relationship issues, peer relationships, stress, and unpacking childhood issues.

The age range she works with is ages 15-40, counseling adolescents and adults. Hailey views therapy as a sacred space for clients to dive deeper into their stories and life experiences. She believes that emotional processing, personal growth, and healing all require reflection on the role emotions play in our lives. Hailey works with individuals to address emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that can be impacting the client in challenging or beneficial ways. She desires for therapeutic work to be a team effort between the client and therapist. Hailey works to create an environment where clients can work towards personal growth while feeling attuned to, seen, and celebrated throughout the process.

Hailey takes an integrative approach to counseling, practicing from a warm and welcoming client-centered approach as she uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. This client-centered approach allows for clients to feel heard, validated, comfortable, and empowered. She values working on exploring emotions in the present moment, as well processing emotional responses to underlying life situations. In her free time, Hailey enjoys watching standup comedy, going camping, reading and doing puzzles, and chowing down on Portland’s best food truck finds.
