Arielle Maverick, CSWA
(14+) Beaverton Office *ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS*

As a queer therapist, I approach my work through a lens of affirmation, inclusivity, and a lived understanding of the complexities of identity, marginalization, and belonging. I bring empathy, curiosity, and straightforwardness to the therapeutic relationship, believing that healing happens most powerfully in the context of safe, authentic connection. I work collaboratively with clients to foster trust, openness, and meaningful growth.
I have a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University and extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults. My background includes several years on the adolescent psychiatric unit at Providence and completing my internship with the Behavioral Health team at Legacy. These experiences have shaped my understanding of crisis care, identity development, and the importance of early mental health support.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered and psychodynamic frameworks, while also integrating evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and somatic therapies to meet each client’s unique needs.
Areas of focus include:
Anxiety & Depression
Self-esteem
Religious or spiritual trauma
Life transitions
Gender & sexuality exploration
Bereavement
Women’s issues
Stress management
I believe lasting change comes not only from relieving symptoms, but from understanding the deeper patterns that shape our lives and relationships—including the therapeutic one. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating identity, or simply seeking clarity and ease, I’ll walk alongside you with compassion and without judgment as we make sense of your story together.
